pLAYING Mozart to premature babies can help them gain weight because they use less energy when calmed by listening to soothing melodies , scientists have found,My cynical first thougyht is well look at what people have done down the centuries sung lullabies to soot children and babies to sleep not rung bells or playd trumpets or had brass bands played near them. I have a therapist friend who tests for allergies etc and this sound thing that i dont understand but they all recommend playing mozart to increase brain power as the chords are tuned into some brain waves that reduce tension give relaxation and all the areas of contrsuctive learning- so much scientific research can be traced back to folk lore, folk prcatices and are part of the practices that have heped the human race survive.
