Among my charity shop roamings and intense searchigs not only havei found the Predictably Irrational book by Dan Ariely that Rabby recommended which i have enjoyed and found fascinating about human behaviour but i have also found books by Anthony Horowitz egSTORMBREAKER - which i have loved on the snowbound days to snuggle up with and just chill with a good rattling yarn about a sort of young James
Bond type character - my daghter has also lent me her copy of Small ISLAND by Andrea Levy - this was recently dramatised to good effect on TV - This has stimulated mygrand chlldren to learn more about their relatives who cam over to england from Jamaica and the treatment some recieved from the GIs who were white when serving in the forces-we forget that Britain and Balfour were for abolition of slavery long before USA were!
